Jeremy Knight
Owner, Director of Business Tax Strategies and Services
CPA
Jeremy Knight, DVM is the Director of Business Tax Strategies and Services for Barklee Financial Group, LLC. He is a double graduate of Oklahoma State University and furthered his accounting and tax education at Texas Tech University. Dr. Knight began his business leadership career creating and managing veterinary hospital departments which provided him with keen insight and experience in business start ups, financial projections and cash flow management, and business tax strategies. He then created Barklee in September 2016 providing online accounting and tax strategies to veterinarian hospitals through the country.
Karen Collom
Director of Personal Taxation
CPA, Quickbooks ProAdvisor
Karen Collom is the Director of Personal Tax Preparation and lead CPA regarding US Citizens living abroad, Foreign Earned Income and FBAR/Fincen issues at Barklee. Karen manages a team of associates dedicated to helping our clients achieve maximum tax savings.
Prior to joining Barklee, Karen owned and operated Karen Collom, CPA, a customer-centric tax and accounting firm that served businesses and individuals within the continental US and abroad. Karen Collom, CPA was acquired by Barklee in 2024.
Karen has been a CPA for 35 years, holds a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Accounting and Audit, is a Quickbooks Pro Advisor and a founding member of the Intuit Pro-Tax Customer Council. Her career has included auditing with Ernst and Young PLLC, Corporate Accounting with Pepsico and Business Management for Our Lady of Angels Catholic Church.
Aldrin Galo
Associate Tax Preparer

Aldrin Galo joined Barklee in 2022 as a business and personal tax preparer. He came to Barklee with over 18 years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting. He has served multiple companies as a business tax preparer and consultant and has extensive knowledge in foreign taxation. Aldrin focuses his expertise on business tax preparation, tax strategy preparation, and tax notice research and response for Barklee.

Kelli Grey
Senior Accountant

Kelli Grey is a Sr. Accountant at Barklee with over 22 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Saint Leo University and is an expert in creating and maintaining client accounting records using QuickBooks Online.
Before joining the Barklee team, Kelli successfully created and led a bookkeeping and consulting firm for small businesses and startups. She has held multiple roles as a staff accountant for large accounting firms. Kelli serves our clients as the manager of accounting, payroll, and sales tax for business accounts.
Kelsie Holly
Senior Accountant

Kelsie is a Sr. Accountant at Barklee with over 7 years experience in maintaining business accounting records according to GAAP. She earned her accounting degree from Texas Tech University and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team from her previous roles as an accountant for banking institutions and large public accounting firms.
Kelsie serves our clients as the manager of accounting, payroll, and sales tax for business accounts.
Kristine Knight
Director of Human Resources
Kristine is the Director of Human Resources for Barklee. Kristine was instrumental in founding Barklee, not only as Jeremy’s supporting and loving wife, but as the original bookkeeper, office manager, human resources department, and resident encourager.
Kristine earned her degree from Texas Tech University and has an extensive background in leading and managing accounting and auditing firms through out Texas. Kristine now focuses on raising their three children, soccer camps, and sleep overs, but continues to stay involved by helping Jeremy lead the human resources team.
Rebecca Smith
Associate Accountant

Rebecca is an accountant at Barklee Financial and joined our team in 2023. Rebecca comes by her accounting knowledge honestly as the daughter of a successfully retired CPA.
Rebecca provides direct support to our clients as a manager of accounting, as well as supports Barklee as the firm’s internal accountant.
Leah Stradley
Senior 1040 Tax Preparer
Accountant - Quickbooks Online Certified
Leah is a Senior Tax Associate working alongside Karen in the 1040 tax department for the past 5 years. Leah earned her BBA in Accounting from The University of William and Mary.
She has been in the accounting field for over 25 years and brings experience across many platforms including Director of Accounting for a consulting firm, Lead Accountant for year-round bookkeeping clients and not for profit accounting. Leah’s current focus is 1040 tax preparation. Leah is QuickBooks Online Certified.
Donna Venegoni
Office Manager- Licensed Notary
Donna is the Office Manager/ Administrator for Barklee. She joined the practice in 2023 under Karen Collom CPA and has blossomed in her role as a Barklee team member. Donna overseas the client experience from initial discovery to delivery of the final product. Donna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Colorado Tech University. She brings over 15 years of experience in the executive and management sector throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Additionally, Donna has over 12 years of Law Enforcement experience in the State of Texas – from Patrol Officer to deputy Reserve Constable.
